Vacation in Yogyakarta

Year-end break in 2014 was the last holiday before the national exam. My friends and I chosed to take a vacation to DIY to refresh our minds.

We stayed in Sleman at house of my friend's auntie. The air was so fresh. There were rice fields along the road. We used the bicycle to go to some places near the house.

There was a river near the house. It was so clean and clear. We played there and took some photos.

We visited Gadjahmada University at night. Gadjahmada University (UGM) is number one national university in Indonesia.
If you go to UGM in the morning on Sunday, there will be a car free day event named "SUNMOR" and there will be so many street food sellers, artwork sellers, street art shows.

We also went to Tugu Jogja (Jogja Monument). Tugu Jogja is on the middle of the intersection near Malioboro.
The best time to visit Tugu Jogja is in the night. The light from vehicles will make the view more beautiful. But remember, don't go to Tugu Jogja on Saturday Night. Too many people there and maybe there will be a traffic jam around.



Next day, we went to Prambanan Temple. Prambanan Temple is the most popular temple beside Borobudur Temple. It is said to be the most beautiful Hindo temple in the world. Prambanan Temple is also known as Roro Jonggrang Temple.



Without buying a ticket, you can still take photos in front of the gate and "WELCOME TO Prambanan Park" billboard.


So many tourists who visited Prambanan Temple. From Indonesia and international tourists. There were also students who visited Prambanan Temple as a study tour member from school.



Even when you already come out of the temple, you can still take photos with the temple background.


After Prambanan Temple, we went to Museum Benteng Vredeburg (Fort Vredeburg Museum). Unfortunately, the museum was closed. We did not know if it is closed every Monday. So, for you who want to see this museum, don't come on Monday. It is said to be the most authentic museum in DIY.
We could still take a wefie in front of the iconic gate.


The next day, we spent all of the day in Gunung Kidul Regency. Gunung Kidul means Kidul Mountain, but Gunung Kidul is filled with the beaches. Sooooo many beaches. We visited more than 5 beaches. But the most memorable for me are Indrayanti Beach and Kook Beach.







In Gunung Kidul, there were so many hermit crab sellers, glasses sellers, hat sellers, and of course street restaurants!

Tourism for Indonesia

Tourism has become an important sector that has an impact on development of country economy. The main benefits of tourism are income creation and generation of jobs. For many regions and countries it is the most important source of welfare. The ability of the national economy to benefit from tourism depends on the availability of investment to develop the necessary infrastructure and on its ability to supply the needs of tourists. Indonesia has a touristic potential for development of seaside tourism and other alternative forms of tourism. Also with a vast archipelago of more than 17,000 islands, the second longest shoreline in the world, 300 different ethnic groups and 250 distinct languages, and tropical climate throughout the year, nature and culture are two major components of Indonesian tourism.
Indonesia’s position is between Asia and Australia and this country is as wide as the European continent. The sea, with the major islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua, occupies fourth-fifths of the area. Even Papua and Kalimantan rank as the second and third largest island in the world after Greenland. This country is the world’s 14th largest nation with cultural and nature diversity.
Tourism in Indonesia is currently overseen by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. International tourist campaigns have been focusing largely on tropical destination with white sand beaches and blue sky imagery. Beach resorts and hotels were developed in some Indonesia islands, with Bali island as the primary destination. Cultural tourism is also an important part of Indonesia tourism industry. Toraja, Prambanan and Borobudur temples, Yogyakarta and Minangkabau are popular destinations for cultural tourism, apart from many Hindu festivities in Bali. About 5 million foreign tourists have visited Indonesia annually since 2000.
Until now, Indonesia has still faced to draw any significant economic benefit from is tourism development. Although since the last 3 decades Indonesia has nationally targeted tourism as a source of foreign exchange after oil, textile and wood, but still far from the aspired target. A relatively spectacular achievement of foreign exchange from tourism sector in 90’s (almost US$ 4000 millions) had to drop again due to the economic and political crisis hitting Indonesia. It can be conclude that the economic benefit of tourism in Indonesia is still relatively low considering the amount and variety of tourism resources the country has to offer.
The Indonesian government believes those natural and cultural are the potential tourism assets that could bring benefits to the local people and the country, if the proper roles of government prepare designated regions for tourists by good planning, minimizing the harmful influences of tourists and protecting the local culture and way-of-life. This has been adopted as the template for tourism planning and development throughout the country, which consist of around 400 autonomous regencies that want to gain economic benefit from tourism sector. Furthermore the national government realized both the potential and pitfalls of tourism as an engine of economic and social development for Indonesia. To avoid the negative effects of unregulated and uncontrolled growth, a national master plan for sustainable tourism development for the entire country was mapped out, supported by international agencies such as UNDF UNESCO, WTO, and ILO working closely with the appropriate government departments. Moreover, provincial master plans for tourism development that assess tourism’s social, economic, cultural and environmental impacts in detail and guide its growth also have been produced for selected provinces.

Na Zdravi, Praha





Do you know Negeri van Oranje (2015), an Indonesian movie? One of my reasons why I wanted to see this movie was because I always wonder how Indonesian people living abroad. Just information, I really want to live in another countries or at least have some overseas trips. As you know, Negeri van Oranje refers to Netherland. But from that movie, I put my interest more to Prague rather than the Netherland. Moreover, in 2016 Indonesia has Surat dari Praha (Letters from Prague). And I really want to take a trip to Prague soon (I don't know what my "soon" means, someday amen). First, let me tell you some essential informations of Prague.

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is the 14th largest city in the European Union. It is also the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava River, the city is home to about 1.26 million people, while its larger urban zone is estimated to have a population of nearly 2 million. The city has a temperate climate, with warm summers and chilly winters. Prague has the lowest unemployment rate in the European Union.
Prague doesn’t need a brochure to sell itself. Thirty years ago, Prague (or Praha as the Czech pronounce it) was a mystery to world travelers; now, however, it is becoming one of the most popular destinations in Europe, drawing about 4 million visitors each year – and for good reason.
Prague really has something for everyone. It's beauty rivals even Paris, its history spans a millennium. It is one of the continent's premier destinations, combining glorious architecture, lively beer gardens, medieval lanes, riverside parks, interesting museums, a thrilling history and a cosmopolitan vibe that sweeps you off your feet. No matter how long you stay, you will always wish it was longer.

Czech Language
Czech is the national language, and its main greeting is Dobrý den.
This is the first thing to say to anyone we don't know very well - i.e. entering a store, greeting a cashier, waiter, etc.
Besides, many people in Prague speak English. And, many older Czechs speak German. Slovak is also spoken but in small numbers.

The weather in Prague is totally unpredictable but Prague has four very real, distinct seasons.

Czech Currency
This is a big point of confusion for a lot of people. The short answer is, they don't use euros. They use Czech koruna (crowns). You might find a few places to accept euros, but don't try to figure who takes euros and who doesn't. It's just a waste of time.
As of now one Czech Krona is equal to five Pakistani Rupees, which means you can get far more bang for your rupee than any other international destination around the world (save perhaps India. But the Czech visa is, obviously, relatively much easier to obtain).

Czech Food
First off, typical food in Prague is not diet food. So, if you're visiting Prague and traditional Czech restaurants, then consider leaving your diet at home.
Traditional meals in standard Czech restaurants can be a bit heavy for some visitors. Chefs won't be watching your diet or skimping on salt when they cook.
Of course, Prague has many international flavors to offer. But, Czech food is typically of the "meat and potatoes" variety.
  • Meat... it's a key ingredient to nearly all meals. Pork, beef, chicken and fiish are all very popular in local restaurants.
  • Vegetables... they might even consider heavy potato dumplings to be a vegetable. Green vegetables aren't very common and side salads may include a simple mixture of grated cabbage and carrot.
  • Bread... it's a key element of Czech food. Rye bread in particular is very good in Czech Republic and you'll find a variety of tasty baked goods as well.

Yes, the Czech Republic has a national dish. It's one of those meals that locals will speak of with pride... "Have you tried vepřo, knedlo, zelo?" So when you visit Prague or wherever in the country, be sure to give it a try!
Vepřo, knedlo, zelo means Roast Pork - Dumplings - Sauerkraut. The roasted pork should be tender with a sauce dripped over it and the sauerkraut. The dumplings are of the yeast variety.


Do I really make a plan to Prague?
Any guides to Prague in internet tell me, a plan is never a bad thing. You might scoff at this idea, but there's really so much to see in Prague.

Accomodation
There's no shortage of Prague accommodation. In recent years, Prague has burst with new hotels, pensions, apartment rentals, hostels and more. Rates are also very competitive. From 40 euros a night for hostels to 150 euros a night for luxury hotels.

Walk Everywhere
Prague's city center is very compact, so plan to walk most everywhere if you can. That means finding accommodation that is central. Ideally we will be able to walk from hotel or apartment to all or some of the key historical monuments.

Once we reach one attraction, the next will seemingly be just down the street. So, imagine walking from one to the next across the city center. So, it definitely pays to research a variety of central hotels before the arrival. And, of course, bring the walking shoes!

In the past, most bars shut down by 10 pm and the city's nightlife was nearly non-existent, but today, visitors and locals have more than enough entertainment options to choose from. Public Transportations
Learning to travel in Prague is said to be easy. Prague's whole metro system in fact is straightforward, reliable and fairly accessible to everyone.
If you don't want to walk, use the metro or trams. The underground metro is better for longer distances while the trams are more flexible and cover the city in more detail.
For example you might want to take the #22 tram to Prague Castle instead of walking up the hill. Tickets are time sensitive so punch them when you get on the tram or before going into the metro.

Music
Music is everywhere in Prague, and a startling amount of it is good. Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the entire city is just full of musicians – and such talented ones
Bars employ singers with guitars, cruise boats have live musicians, Churches have lovely choirs playing through out the day and even walking around the streets of Prague there are musical surprises with repertoires ranging from traditional folk music from all over Europe to unconventional original compositions. Best part – if you love their work, you can buy the CD for as little as KR 50 (50 crowns)

There are so many things from Prague that I can't explain here. But, a real thing is I really want to visit Prague, enjoy the night life, take some photos in front of John Lennon Wall, and dance along the Prague street musicians.

Postingan ini dibuat untuk memenuhi tugas mata kuliah Penulisan Iklan atau Copywriting untuk membuat perencanaan iklan sebuah produk. Kali ini saya memelih produk gula rendah kalori yang diberi merk "RUSSEU"


Analisis Iklan Pepsodent Versi Gigi Berlubang Anak SD

Iklan ini menampilkan ungkapan anak-anak sekolah dasar tentang masalah gigi berlubang pada orang tua mereka. Saat ini, rata -rata orang Indonesia memiliki lima gigi berlubang. Berlatarkan ruang kelas, nak-anak sekolah dasar tersebut mengatakan bahwa mereka tidak menginginkan orang tua mereka terkena hal yang sama. Mereka ingin tahu bagaimana cara mencegah lubang gigi tersebut dan menginginkan orang tua mereka untuk tidak menganggapnya remeh. Pada bagian akhir, iklan ini berlatarkan sebuah kamar mandi dengan seorang anak lelaki dan ayahnya.
Masing-masing anak pun mengucapkan kata-kata yang berbeda-beda. Namun, kata-kata tersebut saling berhubungan satu dengan yang lain. Berikut kutipannya:

Iklan yang berdurasi hampi 30 detik ini dikemas secara santai dengan ditambahkannya backsound yang enak didengar. Bahasa yang digunakan oleh narator pun tidak terlalu formal. Walaupun membahas tetang pemsalahan penyakit, iklan ini tidak menampilkan kesan yang "berat". Hal ini dikarenakan Pepsodent memakai anak kecil dalam iklannya. Cara anak-anak itu menyampaikan peikiran mereka juga terlihat natural dan tidak terpaksa. Tetapi tentulah iklan ini bukan bertujuan untuk anak-anak. Iklan ini ditujukan kepada orang dewasa. Pepsodent menghadirkan sosok orang dewasa pada akhir iklan sebagai ayah yang menggosok gigi bersama anaknya.
Iklan ini memang tidak memberikan jaminan akan kepastiannya dalam hal mencegah gigi berlubang. Tetapi pada iklan ini, Pepsodent yang merupakan produk dari Unilever memuat tulisan "Merek No. 1 dipakai dan Dipercaya Dokter Gigi"
